On the other hand, it is important to reach a balance between the energy that is ingested and the energy spent – which means one should not ingest more energy than can be spent; otherwise there will be an accumulation of fat and weight! Thus, the less energy you spend on your day to day, the less calories you should ingest, and vice-versa.
